Why Robin?

Robin is a transformation and results focused leader driven by one question: How can we make business more human to ensure technology works in service of our collective good? She came to Human-centered Design through a background in Diversity & Inclusion and Organizational Psychology. At their heart, Robin believes these areas share a common concern around unleashing innovative potential through deep understanding of human behavior.

In her current role, Robin leads a 100-person design and insights team which creates the user experience for Wells Fargo's digital platforms - Commercial Electronic Office (CEO), CEO Mobile, and Gateway Developer Portal (APIs, SDKs) – used by the largest corporate and institutional customers, including Costco, Amazon, Google, CA State Universities, and almost every other Fortune 1000 company (and 84,000 others).

Among other accomplishments, Robin has pioneered the proliferation of human-centered capabilities and culture at one of the oldest financial institutions in the U.S, embedded user-centered design processes used in all software development projects - hundreds annually - for both B2C and B2B digital channels in one of the largest banks in the world, and built world class multi-practice insights and design internal agencies.

Robin is the first Design Executive to have a seat on the Treasury Management, Payments, & Merchants Services Operating Committee. She has catalyzed the development of design thinking capabilities throughout the enterprise and trained 500+ employees before program graduated to scale within HR’s Learning & Development organization.
