Desiree is an experienced user interface (UI) designer and has a history of working in the education, architecture, and banking industries. She specializes in branding/visual identity, user experience (UI specialization), marketing materials, and more. She is an Arts & Design Professional, having received her BFA in VC via UT Arlington.
Within her current role at Citi, Desiree conceptualizes and designs user interfaces based on partner's/client's or Citi's brand, voice and mission. She presents clear project concepts/designs to team members and partners/clients, creates concepts, site maps, and high-quality interfaces for prototypes for online viewing and user testing. Beyond this, Desiree produces redlines and additional production-ready assets for development, contributes to stages of project lifecycle like gathering requirements, UA, IA, testing, and implementation. She enjoys design system management research, mini ads for a partner, and online application flow.
Besides wanting to bury herself in exploring fine arts, music, and culture, Desiree spends her time bringing awareness to designers of color, sharing the benefits of minimal living in tiny houses, and learning the advantages of consuming natural energies and food into your body. With all these passions flowing in her veins, Desiree hopes to leave a path of seeds planted in the people she meets so that they are inspired to appreciate the small things and the earth we live on.
