Martin has spent 15+ years in design and product management leadership roles for various types of consumer experiences.
Martin started out working as a UX designer and strategist for various agencies. At SonyEricsson, Martin initially managed a design team of 25-30 designers and researchers for SonyMobile feature phone applications. Next up at SonyMobile, Martin created and led the Sony Mobile UX Strategy team called UX Planning. Martin spent his last 2 years at SonyMobile leading SonyMobile’s design studio in Silicon Valley as deputy Head of HID globally and responsible for tightly working with US operator UX customization management as well as driving new innovation projects with Silicon Valley based tech companies.
At Nook Media LLC, Martin as Head of Design held overall responsibility for the User Experience (UX, Visual design, Interaction design, UX research HW and SW) on Nook client reading apps (IOS, Win, Android) and launched Nook apps and devices.
Martin’s design philosophy is to always deliver business benefits through the usage and smile from the consumer. Simply put to "take it from business to buttons".
