Conor Sheehan

Principal Designer Cantina

Hi, I’m Conor. I earned my mechanical engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Upstate New York. As a Principal Designer at Cantina, I focus on helping product teams learn from their customers. Armed with that knowledge, I design user experiences that solve real problems. LINK AKC is an excellent example of this; our award-winning IoT smart collar for dogs help people make their pets more of a companion, as well as safer and cared for. Avid is another project showcasing Cantina’s user experience prowess. I helped collaborate with The Avid team, a leading provider of audio and video production technology for media organizations and independent professionals, to better meet the needs of their customers with an optimized user experience through a website redesign.

I’ve led design workshops at Forrester CX, Connected Health Conference, SXSW on full-scale prototyping. I’m also an instructor at Startup Institute and General Assembly, where I get to mentor students interested in a career in design.
